For in-vitro laboratory research only

ARA-290 is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

Research profile

About ARA-290 in the lab

ARA-290 (cibinetide) is an 11-residue peptide modelled on a surface of erythropoietin. It was designed to keep EPO's tissue-protective signalling without stimulating red blood cell production and has been studied in nerve-injury and inflammation models.

Proposed mechanism

Selectively engages the innate repair receptor — a complex of the EPO receptor and the β-common receptor (CD131) — rather than the EPO receptor homodimer that drives erythropoiesis.

Structure note

Engineered peptide (11 amino acids).
