Who we are

The controller of personal data processed through this website is ZESTEC Services Limited (trading as Peptide Compare; company no. 16566434; registered office: 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU). See also zestec-services.com. Contact us via the contact page.

What we collect

  • Visitors: basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) via server logs. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 may also collect usage data as described below. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies.
  • Suppliers: business name, billing email and listing count provided at sign-up.
  • Contact & support: your name, email address and the messages you send through the contact form or supplier support tickets, kept so we can answer and follow up on your request.
  • Supplier outreach: we may email UK suppliers at business addresses they publish, to invite them to list (legitimate interests). We keep the business name, email address and when we wrote. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and once you unsubscribe we never email that address again.
  • Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.

Why and on what basis

To run the site and secure it (legitimate interests), and to provide and bill supplier subscriptions (contract). Analytics cookies are used only with your consent (UK PECR / UK GDPR). We do not sell personal data.

Sharing

We share data with service providers that help us operate the service, such as Stripe (payments), our hosting provider (e.g. Netlify), and — if you accept marketing cookies — Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads). Links to supplier sites are governed by those sites’ own policies.

Retention

We keep supplier account and billing records for as long as needed for the service and for legal or accounting obligations. Server logs are kept for a short period. Google retention settings are configured in your Analytics / Ads properties.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and may object to certain processing. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). You can change cookie preferences by clearing site cookies and revisiting the site (the consent banner will reappear).

Cookies

  • Essential: needed for the site to work (e.g. remembering “essential only” cookie choice).
  • Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4 — used to measure traffic and improve the site. Analytics cookies are set only after you click “Accept all” on the cookie banner. Until then, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics storage denied. We run no advertising or remarketing tags.
