Use the filters to pick a size and presentation (vial, pen or serum) and compare like for like, or view every size on a £ per mg basis. Delivery is shown separately because it varies by supplier and order size. Offers whose outbound link failed our last check stay listed but rank below working links.

For in-vitro laboratory research only

Cerebrolysin is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

Research profile

About Cerebrolysin in the lab

Cerebrolysin is a mixture of low-molecular-weight peptides and amino acids derived from purified pig brain proteins. It is a licensed medicine in some countries but not the UK, and it is researched for neurotrophic-like activity in models of neuronal injury.

Proposed mechanism

Described as mimicking aspects of neurotrophic factors such as BDNF and CNTF, with reported effects on neuronal survival, synaptic plasticity and neurogenesis in cell and animal models.

Structure note

Purified porcine brain proteins (Multiple peptides).

Typical research themes

  • Neurotrophic activity
  • Neuronal injury models
  • Peptide mixtures

Regulatory note

The same or a closely related active substance is a licensed prescription medicine in some countries. Research-grade material listed by third parties is not a medicine and must never be used on people or animals.
