Use the filters to pick a size and presentation (vial, pen or serum) and compare like for like, or view every size on a £ per mg basis. Delivery is shown separately because it varies by supplier and order size. Offers whose outbound link failed our last check stay listed but rank below working links.

For in-vitro laboratory research only

Glutathione is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

Research profile

About Glutathione in the lab

Glutathione (GSH) is made in nearly every cell and is central to redox balance, detoxification reactions and protein thiol status. It is a standard reagent in oxidative-stress research.

Proposed mechanism

Its cysteine thiol reduces reactive oxygen species and is regenerated by glutathione reductase; glutathione S-transferases use it to conjugate electrophiles for removal.

Structure note

Tripeptide (3 amino acids).

Amino-acid sequence (one-letter)

Typical research themes

  • Redox balance
  • Oxidative-stress assays
  • Phase II conjugation

Regulatory note

The same or a closely related active substance is a licensed prescription medicine in some countries. Research-grade material listed by third parties is not a medicine and must never be used on people or animals.

This profile is a short, general summary of publicly discussed science. It is not exhaustive, not peer-reviewed by PeptideCompare, and is not medical advice. PeptideCompare provides no dosing, protocol or usage guidance — nothing here is for human or veterinary use.
