Use the filters to pick a size and presentation (vial, pen or serum) and compare like for like, or view every size on a £ per mg basis. Delivery is shown separately because it varies by supplier and order size. Offers whose outbound link failed our last check stay listed but rank below working links.

For in-vitro laboratory research only

MOTS-c is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

Research profile

About MOTS-c in the lab

A mitochondrial-derived peptide. In cell and animal models it has been studied in connection with AMPK signalling and metabolic homeostasis.

Proposed mechanism

Reported to inhibit the folate cycle and de novo purine synthesis, raising AICAR levels and activating AMPK; under stress it can move to the nucleus and influence stress-response gene expression.

Structure note

16-residue peptide encoded in the mitochondrial 12S rRNA gene (Met-Arg-Trp-Gln-Glu-Met-Gly-Tyr-Ile-Phe-Tyr-Pro-Arg-Lys-Leu-Arg).
