For in-vitro laboratory research only

Abaloparatide is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

Research profile

About Abaloparatide in the lab

Abaloparatide is a 34-residue synthetic analogue of parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP). It is an approved prescription medicine in several countries; as a research material it is used to study how intermittent PTH1R signalling favours bone formation over resorption.

Proposed mechanism

Agonist of the PTH type 1 receptor with a preference for the transient RG receptor conformation, giving shorter cAMP signalling than PTH(1-34) — a property studied for its effect on the formation/resorption balance.

Structure note

Synthetic PTHrP analog (34 amino acids).

Typical research themes

  • PTH1R conformational selectivity
  • Osteoblast signalling
  • Bone remodelling models

Regulatory note

The same or a closely related active substance is a licensed prescription medicine in some countries. Research-grade material listed by third parties is not a medicine and must never be used on people or animals.

This profile is a short, general summary of publicly discussed science. It is not exhaustive, not peer-reviewed by PeptideCompare, and is not medical advice. PeptideCompare provides no dosing, protocol or usage guidance — nothing here is for human or veterinary use.
