Use the filters to pick a size and presentation (vial, pen or serum) and compare like for like, or view every size on a £ per mg basis. Delivery is shown separately because it varies by supplier and order size. Offers whose outbound link failed our last check stay listed but rank below working links.

Suppliers are being onboarded. This comparison will populate as listings go live. Everything below — the research profile, molecular facts and guides — is available now.

For in-vitro laboratory research only

EPO is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

Research profile

About EPO in the lab

Erythropoietin is a 165-amino-acid glycoprotein hormone made mainly by the kidney. Recombinant forms are licensed medicines. In research it is used to study erythroid progenitor biology and the tissue-protective actions of EPO receptor signalling.

Proposed mechanism

Binds EPO receptor homodimers on erythroid progenitors, activating JAK2–STAT5, PI3K and MAPK pathways that drive their survival, proliferation and differentiation.

Structure note

Glycoprotein hormone (165 amino acids).

Typical research themes

  • JAK2–STAT5 signalling
  • Erythropoiesis
  • Glycoprotein hormones

Regulatory note

Licensed prescription medicine and prohibited in sport (WADA).

This profile is a short, general summary of publicly discussed science. It is not exhaustive, not peer-reviewed by PeptideCompare, and is not medical advice. PeptideCompare provides no dosing, protocol or usage guidance — nothing here is for human or veterinary use.
