Use the filters to pick a size and presentation (vial, pen or serum) and compare like for like, or view every size on a £ per mg basis. Delivery is shown separately because it varies by supplier and order size. Offers whose outbound link failed our last check stay listed but rank below working links.

For in-vitro laboratory research only

Oxytocin is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

About Oxytocin in the lab

Oxytocin is a cyclic nonapeptide made in the hypothalamus and released from the posterior pituitary. Synthetic oxytocin is a licensed medicine, and the peptide is widely studied in uterine physiology, lactation and social-behaviour research.

Proposed mechanism

Activates the oxytocin receptor, a Gq-coupled GPCR, raising intracellular calcium in smooth muscle and myoepithelial cells and modulating neural circuits.

Structure note

Cyclic nonapeptide (9 amino acids).

Amino-acid sequence (one-letter)
