For in-vitro laboratory research only

PE-22-28 is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

Research profile

About PE-22-28 in the lab

PE-22-28 is a shortened, optimised analogue of spadin, a peptide from the sortilin propeptide. It is studied in rodent models of depression-like behaviour and neurogenesis because of its action on TREK-1 channels.

Proposed mechanism

Blocks TREK-1 two-pore-domain potassium channels, increasing neuronal excitability in serotonergic circuits; it is reported to be more stable than spadin.

Structure note

Linear heptapeptide (7 amino acids).

Amino-acid sequence (one-letter)

GVSWGL?
