For in-vitro laboratory research only

Teriparatide is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

Research profile

About Teriparatide in the lab

Teriparatide is the first 34 amino acids of human parathyroid hormone. It is a licensed prescription medicine, and in research it is the standard for intermittent PTH-receptor signalling in bone biology.

Proposed mechanism

Activates PTH1R on osteoblasts and osteocytes. Intermittent exposure favours osteoblast activity and reduces sclerostin, increasing bone formation in models.

Structure note

Recombinant PTH fragment (34 amino acids).

Typical research themes

  • PTH1R signalling
  • Osteoblast activity
  • Bone formation

Regulatory note

Licensed prescription medicine in the UK.

This profile is a short, general summary of publicly discussed science. It is not exhaustive, not peer-reviewed by PeptideCompare, and is not medical advice. PeptideCompare provides no dosing, protocol or usage guidance — nothing here is for human or veterinary use.
