For in-vitro laboratory research only

Cagrilintide is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

Research profile

About Cagrilintide in the lab

Cagrilintide is an acylated analogue of the pancreatic hormone amylin, engineered for a long half-life. It is in clinical development, including in combination with semaglutide, and is studied for how amylin signalling complements GLP-1 pathways.

Proposed mechanism

Agonist at amylin receptors (calcitonin receptor plus RAMP proteins) and the calcitonin receptor itself, acting on brainstem satiety centres and slowing gastric emptying in models.

Structure note

Amylin receptor agonist (37 amino acids).

Typical research themes

  • Amylin receptor pharmacology
  • Satiety signalling
  • Combination studies

Regulatory note

This is an investigational compound with no UK marketing authorisation. Research-grade material is not for human or veterinary use.

This profile is a short, general summary of publicly discussed science. It is not exhaustive, not peer-reviewed by PeptideCompare, and is not medical advice. PeptideCompare provides no dosing, protocol or usage guidance — nothing here is for human or veterinary use.
