Use the filters to pick a size and presentation (vial, pen or serum) and compare like for like, or view every size on a £ per mg basis. Delivery is shown separately because it varies by supplier and order size. Offers whose outbound link failed our last check stay listed but rank below working links.

For in-vitro laboratory research only

HGH is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

Research profile

About HGH in the lab

Somatropin is recombinant growth hormone identical to the main pituitary form. It is a licensed prescription medicine, and in research it is the reference ligand for GH-receptor and IGF-1 axis studies.

Proposed mechanism

Binds and dimerises GH receptors, activating JAK2–STAT5 signalling that drives IGF-1 production in the liver and direct metabolic effects in fat and muscle.

Structure note

Single-chain polypeptide with two disulfide bridges (191 amino acids).

Typical research themes

  • JAK2–STAT5 signalling
  • IGF-1 axis
  • Recombinant proteins

Regulatory note

Prescription-only medicine in the UK and prohibited in sport (WADA).

This profile is a short, general summary of publicly discussed science. It is not exhaustive, not peer-reviewed by PeptideCompare, and is not medical advice. PeptideCompare provides no dosing, protocol or usage guidance — nothing here is for human or veterinary use.
