For in-vitro laboratory research only

PNC-27 is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

Research profile

About PNC-27 in the lab

PNC-27 links a sequence from the p53 protein's HDM-2 binding domain to a membrane-penetrating leader sequence. In cell culture it has been reported to damage cancer-cell membranes selectively. Evidence is preclinical only.

Proposed mechanism

Proposed to bind HDM-2 expressed on cancer-cell membranes, forming pores that cause rapid necrosis, while sparing normal cells that lack membrane HDM-2.

Structure note

Chimeric peptide.
