Use the filters to pick a size and presentation (vial, pen or serum) and compare like for like, or view every size on a £ per mg basis. Delivery is shown separately because it varies by supplier and order size. Offers whose outbound link failed our last check stay listed but rank below working links.

For in-vitro laboratory research only

LL-37 is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

Research profile

About LL-37 in the lab

The only human cathelicidin. It is a frequent subject of antimicrobial-susceptibility, biofilm and membrane-disruption research in the laboratory.

Proposed mechanism

Its amphipathic helix disrupts microbial membranes; it also binds immune receptors (including FPR2 and P2X7) and nucleic acids, shaping inflammatory and wound-repair responses in models.

Structure note

Amphipathic α-helical peptide beginning with two leucine residues (LL), 37 residues long.

Typical research themes

  • Antimicrobial assays
  • Biofilm models
  • Membrane-interaction biophysics

This profile is a short, general summary of publicly discussed science. It is not exhaustive, not peer-reviewed by PeptideCompare, and is not medical advice. PeptideCompare provides no dosing, protocol or usage guidance — nothing here is for human or veterinary use.
