Use the filters to pick a size and presentation (vial, pen or serum) and compare like for like, or view every size on a £ per mg basis. Delivery is shown separately because it varies by supplier and order size. Offers whose outbound link failed our last check stay listed but rank below working links.

For in-vitro laboratory research only

Semaglutide is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

Research profile

About Semaglutide in the lab

A modified analogue of human glucagon-like peptide-1. In the laboratory it is used as a reference agonist in GLP-1 receptor binding and cAMP signalling assays, and in studies of peptide acylation and albumin binding.

Proposed mechanism

A GLP-1 analogue with an amino-acid substitution that resists DPP-4 and a C18 fatty-diacid chain for albumin binding. It activates GLP-1 receptors in the pancreas, gut and brain.

Structure note

GLP-1(7–37) analogue with an Aib substitution and a C18 fatty-diacid side chain linked via a spacer, supporting albumin binding.

Regulatory note

The same active substance is a licensed prescription medicine in some countries. Research-grade material listed by third parties is not a medicine and must never be used on people or animals.

This profile is a short, general summary of publicly discussed science. It is not exhaustive, not peer-reviewed by PeptideCompare, and is not medical advice. PeptideCompare provides no dosing, protocol or usage guidance — nothing here is for human or veterinary use.
