For in-vitro laboratory research only

Follistatin 344 is listed here as a research material. It is not for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this page is medical advice or dosing guidance. PeptideCompare is paid by flat supplier fees — never by sales commission or referral — so a price ranks by its number, not by who pays. We do not sell, test or verify any product, and quality or CoA labels are suppliers’ own claims. Always check the final price, documentation and legality with the supplier yourself.

About Follistatin 344 in the lab

Follistatin is a natural glycoprotein that binds and neutralises members of the TGF-β superfamily. The 344-amino-acid precursor (FS-344) is used in research, including gene-transfer studies, on muscle mass regulation and activin biology.

Proposed mechanism

Wraps around myostatin and activin, blocking their access to activin type II receptors and preventing SMAD2/3 signalling that limits muscle growth.

Typical research themes

  • Activin/myostatin binding
  • TGF-β superfamily
  • Muscle-mass regulation

This profile is a short, general summary of publicly discussed science. It is not exhaustive, not peer-reviewed by PeptideCompare, and is not medical advice. PeptideCompare provides no dosing, protocol or usage guidance — nothing here is for human or veterinary use.
